In this early exploration of abstraction of objects, I focused on capturing the movement and scattering of light through reflection. A gradient of cool colors transitions into a warm palette while geometric forms gradually break apart into fragmented lines. The concept of reflection is carried throughout the piece with the addition of iridescent silver paint which asks viewers to notice the light in their surroundings and observe how it bends and shifts as they move around the canvas.
